We are a whole lot of loud and a whole lot of crazy. We currently live in Seattle, and welcome everyone in to see a little bit of our trials, adventures, travels, and just every day chaos.

Mom and Dad Went On Vacay

Mom and Dad Went On Vacay

IT WAS AMAZING! Q and I finally went on a vacation together and it was just ssssssoooooooooo nice we went to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Before we left I had horrible horrible anxiety about leaving. The last time I left the girls for a few nights was in January and Yasi is 18months and I have NEVER left him for a night. So the morning we left I definitely shed a few tears leaving my babies, but mainly Yasi cause I have never been away from him or him away from me for that long. But mainly it was also a fear of flying and the plane going down :) I am crazy I understand it is irrational how many people fly a day and nothing happens but just something that scares me. Along with going to a different country. But you know what is amazing? Having a friend you tell your crazy fears to and she tells you to download an app so she can stalk you in a different country :) SOON as we landed I forgot I had kids.

The hotel we stayed at was Esperanza and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I am someone who really digs deep to look at reviews and location and everything like that when it comes to picking a hotel. It had super good reviews and was a reasonable price for what we were looking for. What was even better was I booked it through Kayak but then when I went on the actual site for the hotel they were offering an even lower price that included breakfast, transportation to and from the hotel, and a fourth night free. So I immediately canceled the other one and it did it through the actual hotel. Then of course arriving to the hotel I am like please look like the pictures please look like the pictures AND IT DID! I don’t think pictures did it justice it was a little piece of heaven.

Our room was super amazing too and had a jacuzzi built in on the balcony and we had an ocean view! I am not even trying to brag but it was one of those things that one I am so happy it beyond looks like pictures but wow we made it. We did it we worked our asses off since we first met, we made so many different sacrifices together, individually, career wise, and as parents and this is where it has lead us. And it is worth all of that that this to me is what hard work looks like this is the reward.

The staff was so amazing when we arrive we get a margarita and shown around. They had a really great service that if you just text through facebook messenger they would set up taxis or even dinner reservations. Before we arrived I had set up our transportation (customs for us was not that long of a wait I heard other people say they were there for like 3 hours, we were there for maybe less then an hour), a tequila tasting, and a private beach dinner. The tequila tasting was great learned lots of things I never would have known but that was mainly for Q because I am not a big drinker I was just there for the snacks (which was chips/salsa/guacamole and the most delicious ceviche with sea bass). If you ever go and get a drink get the El Beso I drank one every day once sometimes twice a day SO GOOD, the main restaurant we ate at for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was Cocina Del Mar we did not know until the second night but the bar menu and the actual dining menu for dinner were different! On our last day we ventured off the resort and we ate at a taco place our babysitter had recommended to us called Tacos Guss. IT WAS SO GOOD! Hands down everything was amazing and all we had was shrimp and chicken tacos that were fresh and buttery tasting. That was one thing me and Q both enjoyed so much was all of the food. We love seafood and everything was just fresh, so well seasoned, and absolutely delicious. And it doesn’t make you feel heavy or that gross full feeling since it was mainly seafood that we ate.

Tequila tasting. Eating my weight in chips and guacamole.

Along with the tequila tasting there was a few other things we did on the resort. On our second night there we did a private beach dinner which ended up being literally perfect because the next two nights were a little windy which caused a lot of waves to hit really high on the rocks so any other night we could’ve possibly been soaked. The service was great and it felt amazing to be on the beach at sunset eating with my hubba. They lined the sand with roses and had a fire set up for us after we ate to just sit and talk by. They did sell cigars at the bar and Q smoked one of those! One of my favorite things to do without kids: SIT BY A POOL ALONE and read a book. They had 3 pools total. One pool had a bar you could swim up to and another pool was just for hotel guests (that is the main one we swam at) best part was both pools were KID FREE! It felt so nice to sit by a pool tan, swim, read, and drink a margarita. Which we did 4/5 days we were there. And for the first time in probably two years I WORE A BIKINI!!! And I felt fanfreakintastic in it.

The one book I was able to read (I thought I would read more) is Little Fires Everywhere it was really great, a good family drama! I believe Reese Witherspoon is turning it into a movie starring her and Kerry Washington.

We did go into town once was for shopping to explore the handmade jewelry and just local stuff. We each got a couple things. Through our hotel we also booked a sunset sail to see the Arch of Cabo the company was called Cabo Adventures. You get picked up by a van along with guests from different hotels that takes you down to the marina in downtown Cabo. The views were beautiful and I of course had fun with my hubba, butttt since it was a sunset sail after seeing the Arch you were on the boat just hanging out in the water for awhile just looking at nothing but ocean and me and Q got bored after awhile… They served food but yeahhhh was not that great. Coming back into land the boat turned so then we at least got a view of the city with the sun setting which that was beautiful. Then afterwards you have to wait a long ass time to get your van so everyone has time to buy pictures which by then you just want to get back to your hotel but you have to drop off other people at their hotel first. Was it my favorite? No but the crew on the boat was really nice, got to do an adventure with my hubba, and got to see an amazing view so that was worth it.

Q and I already decided we are coming back next year it was just an amazing trip and an amazing experience! Keep scrolling down for more pictures and links to some of my dresses and swimsuits I got for my trip!

Most of my dresses I wore on my trip were from Amazon! This is the blue dress I wore in the photos I took with Q, I got a size small. I loved the way it fit and the color with my tan. I also got a short version in an orange color and different pattern also a size small. For our sunset boat tour I wore this white dress, which I also loved it was cute flirty great with my tan (I also got this other white dress that I never got a chance to wear). I got a two piece set from shopbop that I wore for our tequila tasting, that is all sold out but there is another version and it is on sale! All the dresses I got I wanted to be able to wear any other time and not just vacay, which any of these I would wear again! Another cute outfit I got to wear from dinner the bottoms I have were yellow but these are the same version, and then a cute beach top. The bikini I felt brave to wear was a size 6/8 and I liked it cause of the neutral colors and it hit in all the right places. There was another high waisted bikini that I had got from lululemon that fit LIKE HEAVEN it hit in all the right places and just made me feel so great. I loved it so much that I got it in blue as well (bottoms were a size 6 top a size 8). A cover-up that I love that I wore on the trip and will definitely wear even just going to swim with the kids was this romper.
